FAQs

  • What are the steps to set up my account with RMC?

You send RMC your list of subcontractors including contact information, the insurance requirements you would like us to track, and your completed service agreement with RMC.

  • How will RMC communicate this change in procedure to my subs?

We e-mail your subcontractors a PDF letter approved by you, to communicate RMC's role and instructions for them to complete registration with our platform. By sending this e-mail we are also able to verify the accuracy of the subcontractor e-mails you provide and determine if the registration requests should be sent to another contact.

  • How does the RMC registration process work?

We e-mail registration request(s) to each subcontractor. They are asked to complete the following:

    • Create a username and password
    • Verify the current contact information for their company
    • Enter and assign their insurance agent(s)

They will only be asked to register once for our platform, which is a 3-5 minute process. Once a subcontractor completes registration, their agent(s) will receive an insurance certificate request with a sample insurance certificate with your requirements.

  • How do the agents submit insurance for RMC review?

The agents can upload the insurance directly into our platform or send via e-mail, mail, or fax.

  • What if the insurance submitted is not compliant with my insurance requirements?

After RMC evaluates the subcontractor's insurance and determines there is non compliance, we then send a non-compliance notification to the agent to fix the non-compliant requirements.

  • How does RMC track expiring policies?

Once we receive insurance, all policy expiration dates are noted in our system. Our system will automatically send agents a renewal notice 30 days prior to a policy expiring.

  • How can I check the compliance status of my subcontractors?

We provide our clients with their own online portal. You and your staff will be able to login and access your compliance dashboard, communication logs, reports, and insurance documentation.
